Reports are now surfacing that Psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich played a huge role in the overdose that took Anna Nicole’s death.

The psychiatrist was writing prescriptions in false names and prescribed unwarranted amounts of highly addictive medications to Smith, knowing that she was an addict.

Eli Lilly Forced to Pay Billion Dollar Fine for Zyprexa

Eli Lilly was forced to pay $1.42 billion fine for marketing their anti-psychotic drug to elderly and children when the drug has no proof to help.

Instead, the drug can cause diabetes, suicide, and other harmful side effects.

Lexapro - The Real Killer of Taylor Hooton

I just finished watching Bigger, Stronger, Faster.  In it, the father of Taylor Hooton rails against steroids because he thinks they caused Taylor to commit suicide.

I feel bad for him of course, but am pretty pissed off that he seems to completely ignore that his son was taking Lexapro, a psychiatric drug KNOWN TO CAUSE SUICIDES.

Discomfort experienced in the front of your body between the neck and the upper abdomen is known as chest pain. This pain can be mild as well life-threatening. Much would depend upon the seriousness of the problems. There are many reasons why chest pain occurs. What are they?

Why Chest Pain Occurs?

  • Chest pain can be due to heart attack
  • Angina is chest pain related to the heart
  • Asthma can also cause similar pain. It is accompanied by wheezing, cough and shortness of breath
  • Pneumonia also can cause much discomfort in the chest. The pain becomes worse when you take a deep breath or cough
  • Rapid breathing and anxiety also causes chest pain
  • Inflammation of the tendons and muscles between the ribs and strain are other causes of chest pain
  • Stomach ulcers lead to chest pain
  • Indigestion
  • Gallstones also cause pain in the chest. It get worse after a fatty meal
  • Heartburn
  • Cervical arthritis
  • Gastrointestinal diseases
  • Musculoskeletal diseases

There are several reasons why a chest pain can occur. It is not necessarily that your are suffering from a heart attack. Next time you have a chest pain consult your doctor.

Is Happiness Good For Health?

Yes. Happiness keeps a person healthy. A cheerful disposition helps you to recover from many ailments. Blood pressure levels will come down if a person is happy. Headaches disappear in no time. A positive attitude is good to combat health problems. Negativity pulls you down. Even a terminally ill patient should feel happy, even if he is faced with death.

How is Happiness Good For Health?

  • Happiness relaxes the mind and body. One feels refreshed
  • Energy levels go up. One feels less lethargic
  • Performance or rather productivity goes up. Good health means more capacity to perform a particular task
  • One experiences psychological well-being. Depression and anxiety levels come down. In fact one may not suffer from them
  • Recover from illness is faster. A happy mood makes you feel healthy
  • Headaches disappear. A smile relieves you of your tension
  • Blood pressure comes down
  • The brain gets stimulated. Concentration improves. You are more alert
  • Overall health improves. You can be free from disease. Morbidity is not good for health
  • Happiness is a better substitute to pills
  • Alcohol need not be solution to problems as happiness can resolve most of them
  • Your attitude towards life is more positive, which helps you to cope up with health problems better
  • Happiness increases longevity of life
  • Your face will reflect a healthy and radiant look
  • Lower rates of chronic illnesses
  • Lessens the harmful effects of stress

Happiness is good medicine for good health. If one is happy one can get cured of many health problems. If one is suffering, one can cope up better. Happiness prevents diseases, particularly mental health problems or at least mitigates them. Be happy and keep the doctor away.
